Hocus Focus: More Pricing Details for the 2015 Ford Focus than You Ever Wanted to Know

The Ford Focus received a friendly, Fusion-y refresh for 2015. Other than

some minor body changes, suspension and steering tuning, new safety and body kit options, and a 1.0-liter three-cylinder EcoBoost engine option, it’s the same little car we like. Price increases range from $95 on the Titanium to $745 on the ST, with the electric model MSRP unchanged.

Here’s the complete—and we mean complete—rundown of standard and optional equipment with nice explanations for each trim, and don’t forget that you can build and price out one of your very own right here on Car and Driver.

S (sedan only): $17,995 (five-speed manual); $19,090 (six-speed dual-clutch automatic). Only the bare necessities show up, including a 2.0-liter 160-hp four-cylinder engine, tilt/telescoping wheel, black body trim, 15-inch steel wheels, rear drum brakes, rear coat hooks, power mirrors, power front windows, and manual rear windows (don’t ask, it’s a Euro thing). Also aboard are cloth seats, a four-speaker stereo with two USB ports, Sync voice activation, Bluetooth, and backup camera, plus all the usual safety features (and a driver’s knee airbag). You only get four color choices: black, dark gray, other gray, or white.

Bundled options include: $245 Exterior Protection Package (rear bumper guard and four mud flaps); $115 Cargo Management Package (soft cargo box and net).

Standalone options include: $445 PowerCode remote start (automatic models only); $350 Graphics Package; $95 keyless entry keypad; $95 stainless steel door sill plates; $75 rubber cargo mat.

SE: $19,285 (five-speed manual); $20,080 (six-speed manual with start/stop); $20,380 (six-speed dual-clutch automatic); hatchback body style adds $500. Adds cruise control, 16-inch alloy wheels, front floor mats, map pockets behind front seats, rear power outlet, power rear windows, center armrest, two more speakers, illuminated vanity mirrors, door lock switches on the actual doors, automatic headlamps, and body-color doors and mirrors with integrated turn signals.

Bundled options (in addition to S options) include: $1995 SE Appearance Package 201A (automatic with 17-inch wheels, rear disc brakes, fog lamps, LED daytime lamps, rear spoiler, alarm, SiriusXM satellite radio, ambient lighting, leather with eight-way power driver’s seat, leather steering wheel, leather shifter, a sunglasses case, and a rear center armrest); $1495 Navigation with Sony & MyFord Touch Package (requires SE Appearance Package; dual-zone automatic climate control, MyFord Touch with eight-inch screen, 10-speaker Sony stereo, navigation, SiriusXM); $695 SE Cold Weather Package (heated seats, steering wheel, and mirrors, plus rubber floor mats); $895 power moonroof; $795 Navigation with Sony MyFord Touch Package (requires SE Appearance Package; MyFord Touch with eight-inch screen, 10-speaker Sony stereo, navigation);

Bundled options for specific powertrains include: $1095 SE Sport Package (automatic models only; 17-inch wheels with black accents, lowered front valence, fog lamps, rear splitter, rear spoiler, body-color rocker panels, rear disc brakes, paddle shifters, leather steering wheel); $1495 SE EcoBoost Package (six-speed manual sedan models only; 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine with everything on SE Sport Package).

Standalone options (in addition to S options) include: $495 SE Power Seat Package (eight-way power driver’s seat with power lumbar and rear parking sensors); $255 rear parking sensors; $195 SiriusXM; and all S options. Extra-charge paint options include Ruby Red and Blue Candy ($395).

Titanium: $23,995 + $500 for hatch (5-speed manual or six-speed automatic). Standard additional equipment includes 17-inch wheels, keyless entry with push-button start, storage inside the rear armrest, rear floor mats, hill start assist, keyless entry pad, chrome trim, remote start for automatic models, trip computer, heated seats, heated mirrors, SE Appearance Package, SiriusXM with HD radio, and 10-speaker Sony stereo.

Bundled options include: $795 Titanium Technology Package (blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, auto high beams); $625 18-inch Wheel Package (gray 18-inch wheels with more aggressive all-season tires, full-size spare over mini-spare); $195 Titanium Cold Weather Package (rubber floor mats, heated steering wheel)

Standalone options (in addition to non-standard S options) include: $795 navigation; $395 Active Park Assist. Extra-charge paint included SE colors plus White Platinum ($595).

ST (hatch only): $25,195. Standard with 2.0-liter turbocharged 252-hp four-cylinder with sport-tuned suspension, six-speed manual, 18-inch gray ST wheels with Y-rated summer tires, ST-specific bodywork, sport exhaust, flat-bottom leather steering wheel, leather and aluminum shift knob, aluminum pedals, and keyless entry with push-button start. Deletes Titanium equipment and replaces most of it with the SE, meaning manual cloth seats, no nav, etc.

Bundled options include: $2990 ST2 Package (dual-zone automatic climate control, xenon headlamps, SiriusXM with HD radio, Recaro partial leather seats, 10-speaker Sony stereo); $4680 ST3 Package (ST2 plus heated mirrors, navigation, sunglasses case, full-leather heated Recaros); $115 Cargo Management Package.

Standalone options include: $895 power moonroof; $495 Exterior Stripe (double black or red stripes along the entire vehicle with matching mirrors); $495 18-inch wheels (with black accents and red-painted brake calipers); $30 Z-rated tires. Extra-charge paint is Tangerine Scream ($595).

Electric (hatch only): $29,995. This is a pretty big drop for a car that barely two years ago cost $10,000 more and required that much in factory incentives to sell. Now the factory incentives (which likely will last all year) are only $3500, bringing the total to $26,495 before available local, state, or federal rebates. Standard equipment over the Titanium includes xenon headlamps, nine-speaker Sony stereo, “eco-conscious” cloth seats, a revised instrument cluster, navigation, remote start, and of course, a single-speed transmission, 23-kWh lithium-ion battery, and 107-kW electric motor.

Bundled options include: $245 Exterior Protection Package.

Standalone options include: $995 leather seats; $370 car cover; $65 charge cord bag; $60 charge port graphics. Extra-charge paint same as Titanium.
